Insurance call centres will be open 24 hours daily throughout the
year. These call centres will be manned by personnel who are able
to answer any queries on insurance policies, Fernando said. There
is no need to obtain copies of statements from the police to process
a repair claims their objective is to make the payment in the quickest
possible time.
Being the only insurance company that has an online branch network
of over 75 locations they are able to electronically relay the data
with photographs to the head office for immediate processing. Another
advantage is that the owner of the car will have an automatic personal
accident over for Rs.100,000.
This will be extended up to four people in the accident. Hospital bills for injured personnel will also be reimbursed. |
