A comprehensive life and health insurance cover for persons with diabetes, our Comprehensive D+ Plan helps you gain access to the best hospitals and medical treatment for diabetes, ensuring peace of mind and financial assistance to the policyholder. The Comprehensive D+ Plan offers financial reimbursement up to a pre-specified maximum amount from your total hospitalization bill.
Policyholders can choose from 3 available packages depending on the required medical care and type of diabetes:

LKR 400,000 cover
LKR 600,000 cover
*Upon completion of 5 years, Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation holds the right to decide if the cover can be extended based on the policyholder’s health condition

Covers nursing expenses, ICU expenses, operation theatre charges, room charges as well as surgeon, anesthetist, medical practitioner, consultant and specialist fees.
Health cover together with life insurance policies
This health cover can be obtained together with Divi Thilina, Minimuthu, Minimuthu Parithyaga, Praguna, Yasa Isuru, Freedom, Minimuthu Dayada, and Janadiri life insurance policies.

Flexibility to add on your spouse so that for both policyholder and spouse are covered till the age of 65.

Benefit amounts payable to policyholder:
First Year - A maximum of 50% of the basic sum assured
Second Year - A maximum of 75% of the basic sum assured
Third Year onwards - A maximum of 100% of the basic sum assured
Cashless card method
Cashless card method is applicable for this cover.
- Anyone between the ages of 30 to 60 can obtain any of these covers, which are valid upto age 65.
